There are several negative reviews on this display. Let me put my 2 cents:
Amazon sells two identical TV's the only difference is that one ends with an AR in the model umber the other ends with VX. I initially ordered the VX model and it arrived very quickly, but one issue, there was something broken inside the unit. The reason was Amazons packaging, they stuck the manufacture box inside a slightly bigger box with no padding!!!! Called an got it replaced, only thing was they didn't have the VX model so they shipped me the AR model. Again identical except this one came in a different style Westinghouse box but this was more heavy duty with double padding to hold the TV firm. I called Westinghouse and they confirmed that the only difference between the models is the packaging and where they are sold. So if you are thinking of buying buy the AR model, my opinion.
Now to the TV, this is a great LED panel for the price, lot of people have complained about the sound and it is valid, the sound is "tinny" but hey this is a small panel just attached 2.1 system for and you are in good shape. The HD (720P) on this panel is superb almost as good as name brands like Samsung and Sony for a third of the cost. Now this is definitely not a IPS panel as colors do desaturate above a certain viewing angle. Again the thing to remember here is the price and second this is not a home theater system, its meant to be used in the bedroom or a small room. The firmware update does fix the subpar controller performance.
Bottom line Fantastic TV for the Price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a TV for the bedroom or dorm room.

This TV is Grrrrrrrrrrreat picture and sound quality are awesome and i was shocked by the lightness of this TV only 14.6 Lbs!!!!and for the people who say that the sound quality is bad i gotta tell you that there is a firmware update for his TV which Improves the sound Quality By 80% and it very easy to upgrade the firmware just go to Westinghouse.com and to the support tab and follow the instructions.

This is a great LED TV for the price. It's easy to set up, energy efficient, and has great picture quality. Plus, it weighs less than 14 pounds, so it's easy to mount to your wall. Be aware of the audio quality though, it does sound "canny" and has virtually no bass, but can be remedied with the addition of external speakers or connecting it to your audio system. The firmware update was easy to accoplish, but you must purchase a thumb drive as one is not included. I'd definitley buy another Westinghouse LED tv.

Westinghouse products are not good, and they are not well backed. Mine went out with less than 100 hours, but since it was in a seldom used guest room, the 1-year warranty had passed. I went to the web in an attempt to find a fix. I found hundreds of bad reviews for Westinghouse televisions. You can check them out at [...] and [...]. Amazon has tons of amazing products. Don't buy Westinghouse. Buy something else. I have a Sony and a Samsung. Both are awesome!
TV looks good, But There are problem - Hai -
I bought this TV a few months back, i was happy with price and picture color and everything though sounds are not good at all, tv reponses very slow but I can live with those issue for the low price. After a few months of extremely light used probably used less than 8hours total. I found a serious problem with this TV, maybe just happens to be mine: yesterday I turned TV on, changed some channels and all suddenly there just black screen, all remote control keys become useless except power key, and everytime you power on it is just nothing but black screen. It took me a while to figure out that for some reasons there are couple channels in the list that are not viewable, and whenever I changed to those channels the TV seems to fall into a black hole or an indefinitely loop, which caused it to not response to any of remote control keys excepts power key. What I ended up doing was to remove antenna, power TV on, now it is working but no signal as expected, then change to a working channel, then go to setting and set it to skip all non working channels. That temporary solved the problem.
The TV is just couple months old, I will see if I still can get it returned. I would give it a 4 stars if without this problem.
