I have not tried the 3D features so cannot comment on those. The picture is absolutely stunning! It is not bad out of the box, but dial in a few adjustments on the picture menu, & WOW! My settings are listed below. I had ordered a Blu-ray calibration disk, but I am in no hurry to make use of it. Haven't tried the 3D yet. I updated the firmware by USB flash drive with no issues. (I turned off the Standby Mode Upgrade.) In the event you have an iPhone or iPad, be positive to get the Samsung TV Remote app -- Samsung 3D HDTV includes a keyboard which makes entering login information much simpler for the Clever Hub apps. & if using outside speakers, you'll need an optical ""toslink"" cable to get the sound to your receiver for the Netflix, Vudu, YouTube, etc. apps. My picture settings: Film mode, Cell Light 18, Contrast 89, Brightness 50, Sharpness ten, Color 51, Tint G51/R49, Color Tone Warm1, Noise filters Off, HDMI Black level Normal. The only negative so far is that the stand is a bit wobbly. It does the job fine in the event you don't touch it, but in the event you have small babies...
