I picked up the Samsung 51"" D550 from Sears on the twelfth. i would solely discovered the TV on-line one or two hours before shopping for it. perpetually wished a Samsung and once I saw it within the store, I was sold. Had to own it.
Received a try [2] of Samsung's new 3100 3D glasses. [Will write a separate review for those.] Beware, this TV is big. I swear, it did not look this huge within the store.

Picture Quality is outstanding. Break-in is not necessary. I ran slides for every day before using the TV often. No IR the least bit. Blacks are deep and made, colours are made and life-like. i have not had it professionally calibrated, simply using settings I've found on the AVS forum and tweaking them to my likes.
Settings are terribly, terribly customizable. SD programs are sensible. Soft sometimes however terribly watchable.
